Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS)
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is a Canadian economic immigration program jointly operated by the Alberta provincial government and the Canadian federal immigration authorities. Its main purpose is to stimulate Alberta's economic development by attracting and retaining immigrants who can immediately start working in Canada. Applicants who receive a nomination from Alberta, along with their spouses and children, can apply for permanent residency in Canada as sponsored citizens of Alberta. The requirements for Alberta's employer-sponsored immigration program are relatively low; one application can allow the entire family to immigrate to Canada.
